James is a London-based autodidact photographer specialising in adventure travel, fashion and fine art photography.
James' work offers a unique perspective and profound appreciation of the world and those who inhabit Through his images, audiences explore themes of overlooked beauty, curiosity and conservation of the natural world.
Originally an art historian by training, James finds inspiration in the centuries of creative endeavour that predate us, influencing narrative devices, colours and compositions.

Cameras have been James's constant companion for over 20 years. He's had the great fortune to have his work featured in a wide range of print and digital publications ranging from The Times to Tatler.
Past clients include Resident Advisor Magasine, DJ Mag,The Jumeirah Group, PRCo, The Grief Space, Yoke Consultants, Ouroboros Jewellery, Arlberg Tourism and the Welgevonden Reserve to name a few.
James shoots with a full frame Canon R5 professional camera and Godox studio lighting, enabling high quality prints at gallery scale without losing quality.
